# The Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1988 (revoked), Paragraph 6

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

For Regulation 25(5) there shall be substituted the following–
“(5) In the case of an instrument to which Regulation 13(9) above applies this Regulation shall have effect as if the reference in paragraph (1)(a) above to an inspector or person acting under his authority were a reference to the Secretary of State, or to an inspector when the Department for the Economy is nominated by the Secretary of State for the purposes of Regulation 13(9) above.”.
