Explanatory note

These Regulations amend the Regulations specified in the Schedule by inserting in each of them a definition of “member State” so as to expressly include Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein in that definition. This means that when an instrument to which any of those Regulations relate is made available in any of these countries it is placed on the market for the purposes of those Regulations.

These Regulations are made in consequence of a defect in the Regulations listed in the Schedule and will be issued free of charge to all known recipients of those Regulations.
