# The Medical Act 1983 (Amendment) Order 2002, Paragraph 7: Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (c. 37)


(1) In section 56 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (functions of authority responsible for maintaining the service), at the end of subsection (2) add “ who holds a licence to practise ”.
(2) In section 60 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (supplementary) in subsection (1), after “fully registered medical practitioner” insert “ who holds a licence to practise ”.
