# Medical Act 1983, Section 57: Short title, commencement and extent.


(1) This Act may be cited as the Medical Act 1983.
(2) This Act shall come into force at the end of the period of three months beginning with the day on which it is passed.
(3) This Act extends to Northern Ireland.
