  "text": "1st July 1997 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the whole of the Act so far as it is not already in force, except section 2 (voluntary removal from the register) and, in the Schedule (supplementary and consequential amendments to the Medical Act 1983), paragraph 3 (which amends section 32 of that Act), and sections 4 (which introduces the Schedule) and 7(2) (extent) so far as they relate to those provisions.",
