  "text": "(1) The following provisions of the Act come into force on 1 October 2007—\n(a) sections 5 to 29;\n(b) sections 45 to 63;\n(c) sections 65 to 69; and\n(d) Schedules 1 to 7.\n(2) The following provisions of the Act, which have already been commenced for limited purposes, come into force on 1 October 2007 for all purposes—\n(a) section 1 (principles);\n(b) section 2 (people who lack capacity);\n(c) section 3 (inability to make decisions);\n(d) section 4 (best interests);\n(e) sections 42(4) and (5) (codes of practice); and\n(f) section 64 (interpretation).",
