# Mental Capacity Act (Northern Ireland) 2016, Section 190: Detention under a public protection order with restrictions

Status: prospective

(1) This section applies where a person is liable to be detained under a public protection order with restrictions made under section 167.
(2) The person continues to be liable to be detained under the order until discharged absolutely under section 191 or Chapter 8.
