  "text": "In the Mental Health Act 1983, in the following places, for “effective” substitute “appropriate medical”—\nsection 50(1) (prisoners under sentence);\nsection 51(3)(b) and (4)(b) (detained persons);\nsection 52(5)(b) (persons remanded by magistrates’ courts);\nsection 53(2)(b) (civil prisoners and persons detained under the Immigration Acts).",
