# Merchant Shipping Act 1995, Section 168: Limitation of liability under section 153A or 154.


For the purposes of section 185 any liability incurred under section 153A or 154 shall be deemed to be a liability to damages in respect of such damage to property as is mentioned in paragraph 1(a) of Article 2 of the Convention in Part I of Schedule 7.
