Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and revocation

These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 11th July 1997.

The following Regulations are hereby revoked—
(a)
the Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) Regulations 1978f1;
(b)
the Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) (Amendment) Regulations 1979f2;
(c)
the Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) (Amendment) Regulations 1984f3;
(d)
the Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) (Amendment) Regulations 1989f4.
