  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations further amend the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Regulations 1996 (S.I. 1996/3243)\nThe Regulations prescribe changes in some of the fees charged and introduce new fees. In particular—\n(1) the hourly rate for fees relating to services listed in Part I of the Schedule has been increased from £72 to £74;\n(2) fees in connection with tonnage measurements are to be charged at the hourly rate for services in Part I of the Schedule (£74);5\n(3) revised fees have been introduced in relation to the services listed in Parts II to XIII.\nThe principal changes to the fees charged are shown in the following table:\nDescription of fee\nOld fee\nNew fee\n£\n£\nN.B.
