  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations further amend the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Regulations 1996 (the “Fees Regulations”) and the Merchant Shipping (Port Waste Reception Facilities) Regulations 1997 (the “Waste Regulations”).\nIn addition to amending the table of statutory instruments in Part I of the Schedule of the Fees Regulations and correcting a reference to Part III of the Register of Ships, these Regulations amend the fees to be charged for certain services as follows:\nservice\nold fee\nnew fee\nservices in relation to the Radio Rules (as defined in the Fees Regulations) (paragraph 2(2)(a) of Part I of the Schedule)—\nfor fishing vessels\n£23\n£23.66\nfor other ships\n£26\n£26.75\nregistration of a ship following provisional registration by the Registrar (Part VII of the Schedule)\n£150\n£50\nsimple registration of four transfers of shares in relation to a fishing vessel (Part VIII of the Schedule)\n£70\n£88\nwaiting time prior to commencement of and during the course of a radio survey or inspection for periods in excess of one hour—\nfor surveys in the United Kingdom\nof fishing vessels\n£23\n£23.66\nof other ships\n£26\n£26.75\nfor surveys abroad\nof fishing vessels\n£46\n£47.32\nof other ships\n£52\n£53.50\nfor abortive visits for radio surveys in the United Kingdom, wasted time in excess of one hour and travelling time\nin relation to fishing vessels\n£23\n£23.66\nin relation to other ships\n£26\n£26.75\nfor radio surveys at unusual hours, including travelling time\non Mondays to Fridays inclusive between 6pm and 8am and all day Saturday\nin relation to fishing vessels\n£11.50\n£11.83\nin relation to other ships\n£13\n£13.38\non Sundays and Public Holidays\nin relation to fishing vessels\n£23\n£23.66\nin relation to other ships\n£26\n£26.75\n(Part XII of the Schedule)\nThe amendment to the Waste Regulations corrects the reference to the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Regulations 1996.",
