  "text": "After paragraph (7) of regulation 10 there shall be inserted the following paragraph—\n“(8) In every ship of Class I constructed on or after 1st January 1994, where a public space spans three or more decks by means of permanent openings and contains combustibles (such as furniture) and enclosed spaces (such as shops, offices and restaurants), the entire main vertical zone containing that space shall be protected throughout with a smoke detection system complying with the requirements (other than of paragraph (1)(i)) of Schedule 11 to these Regulations.”.",
