# The Merchant Shipping (Fire Protection) (Amendment) Regulations 1993, Paragraph 5


After regulation 35 there shall be inserted the following regulation—
“Paint lockers etc
35A In every ship of Class VII of 500 tons or over, every paint locker and flammable liquid locker shall be protected by an approved fire–extinguishing system.”.
