Laid before Parliament 1st April 1987
Coming into force 6th April 1987
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by article 3 of the Merchant Shipping (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Order 1987f1 and after consulting with the persons referred to in section 22(2) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1979f2, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 21(1)(a) and (b), (3), (5) and (6) and section 22(1) of that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
