# The Merchant Shipping (Life-Saving Appliances) (Amendment) Rules 1978, Article 1


These Rules may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Life-Saving Appliances) (Amendment) Rules 1978 and shall come into operation on 1st February 1979.
