  "text": "The Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) Regulations 1990 shall be amended in the Schedule thereto as follows:–\n(a) in paragraph 1(1) of Part I (Scale of Payments):–\nfor “£53” substitute “£60”\nfor “35 pence” (in both places) substitute “41.5 pence”;\nfor “70 pence” substitute “83 pence”;\n(b) after paragraph 1(5) of Part I insert the following–\n“(6) A payment on account of light dues made under paragraph 1(1) in any year shall not entitle the ship to–\n(a) any exemption from dues in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1(2), or\n(b) any limititation of liability for dues in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1(4);\nbeyond 30 April in the following year”.\n(c) in paragraph 2 of Part I:–\nTugs and registered fishing vessels\n(i) in sub-paragraph (1)(a), for “£192” and “£19” substitute “£205” and “£21” respectively;\n(ii) in sub-paragraph (1)(b), for “£107” and “£11” substitute “£115” and “£12” respectively;\n(iii) in sub-paragraphs (2) and (3), amend the minimum payments from “£53” to “£60” in each case.\nPleasure craft\n(iv) in sub-paragraph (4), for “£66” substitute “£78”; and for “£22” substitute “£26”;\n(v) in sub-paragraph (5), for “£22” substitute “£26”.\n(d) in paragraph 5(c) of Part II add at the end:–\n“and where the dues payable are not a multiple of a penny the excess shall be rounded down to the nearest penny;”.",
