# The Merchant Shipping (Load Line) Regulations 1998, Regulation 20: Appropriate load line


The appropriate load line in respect of a ship at any particular zone or area and seasonal period shall be ascertained in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 1 in Merchant Shipping Notice MSN 1701(M).
