  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations further amend the Merchant Shipping (Passenger Ship Construction and Survey) Regulations 1984 and the Merchant Shipping (Passenger Ship Construction) Regulations 1980 so that the requirements for access door indicating systems, supplementary emergency lighting and television systems on United Kingdom ro/ro passenger ships are extended to other ro/ro passenger ships while they are within a port in the United Kingdom.",
