  "text": "For regulation 2(1) there shall be substituted:\n“(1) This Part of these Regulations implements in the United Kingdom Directive 95/21/EC of the Council of 19th June 1995 on port State control of shipping as amended by:\n(a) Commission Directive 96/40/EC;\n(b) Council Directive 98/25/EC;\n(c) Commission Directive 98/42;\n(d) Commission Directive 1999/97/EC;\n(e) Directive 2001/106/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council; and\n(f) Directive 2002/84/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council\n(in these Regulations referred to as the “Council Directive”).”.",
