# The Merchant Shipping (Section 52 Inquiries) Rules (Amendment) Rules 1989, Article 1: Commencement and interpretation


These Rules may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Section 52 Inquiries) Rules (Amendment) Rules 1989 and shall come into force on 20th February 1989.
