# The Merger (Prenotification) Regulations 1990, Regulation 5: Rejection of a merger notice


A rejection of a merger notice under section 75B(7) of the Act shall be given in writing (including by facsimile or other form of electronic transmission) and such a notice shall be treated as having been rejected at the time when the rejection is sent to the person who gave the merger notice or a person acting on his behalf.
