# The Merger (Prenotification) Regulations 1990, Regulation 8: Notice to extend period for consideration of merger notice


A notice to extend the period mentioned in section 75B(2) of the Act (period for consideration of merger notice) may be given orally or in writing (including by facsimile or other form of electronic transmission).
