Article 2

(1)

The Merseyside Traffic Control System (Revocation) Order 1991^f1 is hereby amended as follows.

(2)

In article 2–

(a)

for paragraph (1) there shall be substituted the following paragraph–

“(1)

The Merseyside Traffic Control System (Transfer) Order 1986^f2is hereby revoked.”;

(b)

after paragraph (1), there shall be inserted the following paragraph–

“(1A)

Article 3 of the Merseyside Traffic Control System (Transfer) Order 1988^f3 shall be omitted.”

(3)

After article 3 there shall be inserted the following article–

“3A.

Subject to articles 4and 5, Part V of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984^f4 shall have effect as from revocation date as if the Merseyside Traffic Control System (Transfer) Order 1986 had never been made.”
