# The Meters (Certification) Regulations 1990, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 29th March 1990
Coming into force 31st March 1990
The Director General of Electricity Supply in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 31 and 60 of, and paragraphs 5 and 13 of Schedule 7 to, the Electricity Act 1989 and of all other enabling powers, and with the consent of the Secretary of State in accordance with paragraph 13 of Schedule 7 to that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:–
