# The Meters (Certification) Regulations 1998, Paragraph 8

Extent: E+W+S

Before a meter is submitted for certification, the report on the meter and any transformer submitted with it shall be verified and signed by the person in charge of manufacture or repair, as the case may be, or by a person nominated by him.
