Paragraph 1 Citation and commencement

(1)

This scheme may be cited as the Mid Eastern Combined Fire Services Area Administration Scheme 1995.

(2)

This scheme shall come into operation—

(a)

in relation to—

(i)

the constitution of the joint board referred to in paragraph 3 below; and

(ii)

the performance by that board of any functions necessary to bring this scheme into full operation on 1st April 1996, on 31st October 1995; and

(b)

for all other purposes, on 1st April 1996.
