Regulation 8 Transitional Provision

Nothing in these Regulations shall be taken to treat as a breach of a condition of a licence (as defined in the Milk (Special Designation) Regulations 1989) a sale before 1st July 1991 of any milk which is not marked or labelled with the appropriate durability indication referred to in Schedule 6, paragraph 1(b), in circumstances in which that milk is marked or labelled in accordance with what would have been the requirements of Schedule 6, paragraph 3, had these Regulations not come into force.
