  "text": "In the case of roadways where persons work or pass in front of the last permanent support—\n(a) temporary supports must be used; and\n(b) the maximum distance between the last permanent support and the first line of temporary supports must be 1.2 metres, except where props are used, when that distance must be 0.9 metres.",
