# Ministerial Salaries (Amendment) Act 2026, Section 1: Ministerial salaries

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

In paragraph 2 of Part 5 of Schedule 1 to the Ministerial and other Salaries Act 1975 (maximum number of salaries that may be paid in respect of certain Ministerial offices)—
(a) in paragraph (a) (Secretaries of State), for “21” substitute “22”;
(b) in paragraph (b) (Secretaries of State and Ministers of State), for “50” substitute “54”;
(c) in paragraph (c) (Secretaries of State, Ministers of State and Parliamentary Secretaries), for “83” substitute “94”.
