# The Miscellaneous Mines Order 1956, Paragraph 80


It shall be the duty of the manager of every mine to make and ensure the efficient carrying out of arrangements to secure that every inspection, examination or other thing required by these regulations to be carried out or done by a competent person appointed by him is assigned to a competent person so appointed. A manager may in any case appoint himself.
