# The Mobility Allowance (Vehicle Scheme Beneficiaries) Amendment Regulations 1978, Note: Explanatory note


These Regulations amend the provision of the Mobility Allowance (Vehicle Scheme Beneficiaries) Regulations 1977 prescribing categories of persons to whom section 13 of the Social Security (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1977 applies so as to require that where persons have either been provided with, or have applied for, a vehicle, it is a power driven road vehicle controlled by the occupant.
