The Treasury are a government department designatedf1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972f2 in relation to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;

The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, make the following Regulations:
