  "text": "Education, England\nMade 9th March 2009\nLaid before Parliament 16th March 2009\nComing into force 8th May 2009\nThe governing body of Monkseaton Community High School (“the governing body”) wish to continue to trial innovative arrangements in relation to the holding of their meetings and their decision making procedures implemented by virtue of the Monkseaton Community High School (Governing Body Procedures) Order 2006.\nThe governing body have, in accordance with section 4(2) of the Education Act 2002 (“the Act”), consulted the local education authority and such other persons as appear to them to be appropriate.\nIt is the opinion of the Secretary of State, having regard to the matters set out in section 1(2) of the Act, that the extension of the period for which that Order has effect may contribute to the raising of educational standards achieved by children in England.\nOn the application of the governing body, the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1) and 3(1) of the Act.",
