  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nBy virtue of section 7(5) of the Pilotage Act 1987 a directiongiven by a harbour authority for the purpose of making pilotagecompulsory for ships navigating in a specified area shall not apply toany area which is outside the authority’s harbour unless the limits ofjurisdiction of the authority for pilotage purposes have been extendedto cover that area.\nThis Order accordingly extends the limits of jurisdiction of theTrustees of the harbour of Montrose for pilotage purposes under Part Iof the Pilotage Act 1987 so as to include an area outside their harbourin respect of which the Trustees consider that pilotage should becompulsory.\nThe applicants for this Order are the Trustees of the harbour ofMontrose.",
