Paragraph 6 The 1981 Act

(1)

The 1981 Act, as applied by article 25 (application of the 1981 Act) to the acquisition of land under article 22 (power to acquire land), applies to a compulsory acquisition of a right or the imposition of a restrictive covenant under article 23 (power to acquire new rights and impose restrictive covenants)—

(a)

with the modifications specified in paragraph 7; and

(b)

with such other modifications as may be necessary.

(2)

The enactments relating to compensation for the compulsory purchase of land also apply to a compulsory acquisition of a right or the imposition of a restrictive covenant under article 23.
