  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Motor Cycles (Eye Protectors) Regulations 1985 to provide for a further exemption from the requirement of those Regulations and section 33AA(3) of the Road Traffic Act 1972 that if a person driving or riding on a motor cycle on a road should use an eye protector it should be of a type prescribed in the Regulations. The exemption is for any person in the armed services who is on duty and wearing an eye protector supplied to him as part of his service equipment.",
