These Regulations further amend the Motor Vehicle Testing Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 by—

(a)

amending the exemption from testing for electrically propelled vehicles so that testing is not required for electrically propelled goods vehicles the maximum gross weight of which does not exceed 3500 kg;

(b)

granting an exemption from testing for goods vehicles with a maximum gross weight which exceeds 3500 kg; and

(c)

increasing the fee payable for a full examination under Article 81 of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 for taxis, from £122.00 to £126.50.
