# The Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations 1996, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Motor Vehicles Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994 by extending, from 1st January 1997 to 1st July 1997, the transitional exemption date laid down in regulation 11(1) and (2) for the supply of VR and ZR designated tyres and bias-belted and diagonal-ply tyres.
