These Regulations further amend the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1987.

Regulation 19(3)(b), as substituted by the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1989 (S.I. 1989/762), is amended so as to increase the fee payable in respect of the Part II test for motor bicycles and the test for motor vehicles of group E (mopeds) from £16.50 to £24.00.

Schedules 3 and 4 are amended so as to require a person taking the Part II test for motor bicycles or the test for mopeds to be able to perform a “U” turn and to show that he can drive slowly while keeping his vehicle under control.
