# The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2004, Regulation 2: Amendment of the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999


(1) The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 54(5)—
(a) in the definition of “registered” for “Road Haulage and Distribution Training Council” substitute “Skills for Logistics Council”; and
(b) for the definition of “the Training Scheme” substitute—
““the Training Scheme” means the Young Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver Training Scheme which was established by Skills for Logistics and approved by the Secretary of State for the purpose of regulations under section 101(2) of the Traffic Act on 24 February 2004 for training young drivers of large goods vehicles.”
