  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations further amend the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999 as follows.\nRegulation 3 and the Schedule amend the fees payable upon an application for a practical or for a unitary driving test where the test is to be conducted on or after the coming into force of these Regulations.\nPractical and unitary driving test fees for car and motor cycle tests were last increased for tests booked on or after 4th May 1999.\nPractical and unitary driving test fees for lorry and bus tests were last increased for tests booked on or after 1st April 1998.\nThe following tables show the new fees with the percentage change in brackets:\nORDINARY TESTS\nType of vehicle\nTest commenced during normal hours\nTest commenced during evenings and weekends\nMotor cycles and mopeds\n£46.50 (3.3%)\n£56.00 (1.8%)\nMotor cars, tractors and minor categories\n£38.00 (3.4%)\n£47.00 (2.2%)\nCars with trailers, goods vehicles and passenger-carrying vehicles\n£76.00 (3.4%)\n£94.00 (2.2%)\nEXTENDED TESTS\nType of vehicle\nTest commenced during normal hours\nTest commenced during evenings and weekends\nMotor Cycles\n£93.00 (3.3%)\n£112.00 (1.8%)\nMotor Cars\n£76.00 (3.4%)\n£94.00 (2.2%)",
