# The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 1987, Note: Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations further amend the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1981. They increase the fee for Part II of the driving test for a motor bicycle, and for the ordinary motor car driving test, from £14.40 to £15. There is no increase in the fee for Part I of the motor bicycle test, and tests for invalid carriages remain free.
The fees at the existing rates remain payable in cases where the relevant application is received before 27th April 1987.
