# The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2009, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2009.
(2) The Regulations shall come into force on 30th March 2009 other than for the purposes of regulation 28 which shall come into force on 6th April 2009.
(3) In these Regulations, the “principal Regulations” means the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999.
