# The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2011, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 24th October 2011
Coming into force 15th November 2011
The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 92(2) and (4), 105(1), (2)(a) and (3) and 108(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
The Secretary of State has consulted with such representative organisations as thought fit in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act.
