# The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 13th February 2013
Coming into force 8th March 2013
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 92(2) and (4), 94(5), 105(1), (2)(a) and (3) and 108(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
The Secretary of State has consulted with such representative organisations as thought fit in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act.
