# The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2017, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 5th December 2017
Laid before Parliament 7th December 2017
Coming into force 1st January 2018
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(2) and (4)(b), and 105(1), (2) and (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1988, and after consulting with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act.
