# The Motor Vehicles (International Circulation) (Amendment) Order 1980, Article 1

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

This Order may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (International Circulation) (Amendment) Order 1980 and shall come into operation—
(a) for all purposes of paragraph (1) of Article 10 on the first day of the month following that in which the Order is made, and
(b) for all other purposes, on the date on which the Convention on Road Traffic concluded at Vienna in 1968 is first in force in respect of the United Kingdom, which date shall be notified in the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes.
