# The Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2007, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been printed to correct errors in S.I. 2006/1998 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 45 and 46 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and by virtue of the Department of Transport (Fees) Order 1988.
In accordance with section 195(2) of that Act he has consulted with such representative organisations as he thinks fit.
