# The Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 1982, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 8th November 1982
Coming into Operation 1st December 1982
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 44(4) of the Road Traffic Act 1972 and now vested in him, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with the provisions of section 199(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
